Sekjen IKA PKn UPI Menjadi Narasumber Seminar Literasi

BANDUNG –Sektetaris Jenderal IKA PKn UPI, Prof. Dr. H. Cecep Darmawan, S.Pd., S.Ip., M.Si. menyatakan bahwa kebiasaan membaca dan menulis harus menjadi kebiasaan keseharian kaum intelektual menuju budaya literasi.
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan Cecep Darmawan saat tampil menjadi pembicara pada Seminar “Menjadi Guru Literat Abad 21” yang diadakan oleh Komunitas Pegiat Literasi Jabar (KPLJ) ” di Balai Bahasa Provinsi Jawa Barat, Ahad (19/2/2017) lalu.
 
“Banyak manfaat dari aktivitas membaca dan menulis. Selain menambah wawasan tentang sesuatu, membaca dan menulis pun dapat memberikan kepuasan batin dan dapat menyalurkan kegelisahan intelektual,” ujarnya. 
Masih menurut Cecep membaca itu bukan hanya bagi mereka yang sedang menuntut ilmu di jalur formal namun juga kebutuhan semua orang sebagai ciri dari masyarakat modern. Pada kesempatan tersebut tampil pula narasumber lain yakni pegiat KPLJ, Idris Apandi yang juga mahasiswa S3 PKn UPI.

Menurut Idris KPLJ merupakan sebuah organisasi yang fokusnya membangun dan mengembangkan budaya literasi. Melalui KPLJ ini diharapkan muncul karya-karya baru dari para anggotanya. Dalam moment seminar juga dikukuhkan pengurus KPLJ masa bakti 2017-2021. Cecep Darmawan sendiri didaulat menjadi Dewan Pembina KPLJ.
